VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!  

Each year Boxer Luv Rescue takes in and adopts out over 250 homeless, neglected or abandoned Boxers. The needs of each dog vary but most end up needing to be spayed or neutered and need their shots updated - minimum. Many of the dogs that come to us require extensive medical care. Some for physical injuries, valley or tick fever or a host of other ailments. No matter what the dog's needs, Boxer Luv Rescue takes care of them, sparing no cost to help bring the dog back to health so we can find a new, loving home with a well deserving family. It physically would not be possible to rescue, care for and adopt out the number of dogs we do without the tremendous efforts of our volunteers!!

 

Volunteers with Boxer Luv Rescue perform a variety of functions:

 

• Walk the shelters.
• Transport dogs to our kennel facilities.
• Visit the dogs while they await their new home.
• Bathe and walk the dogs.
• Take photos of all the available dogs.
• Review adoption applications and make the best match for the Boxer and prospective new owner.
• Transport dogs to the vet
• Foster dogs short and long term
• Mailings
• Organize Fundraisers
• Attend events with our available boxers
• And much more...

 

 

The list of what our volunteers do is limitless because the size of their hearts is also limitless.  Each of them are very busy individuals who make time for the dogs no matter what.  At Boxer Luv Rescue not one person is compensated for their efforts, yet so much is accomplished. It is a 100% volunteer-based organization and we are so proud of all we can accomplish on behalf of the Boxers. We owe it all to our incredible volunteers!
